#114 – Microtrauma (GER) by Wildwood Podcast Series

In 1995 simple tracker software got the interest of the two friends Daniel and Ricardo. Thus, they decided to produce a few tracks.
Both shared a common passion for all sorts of different musical styles, which made their early productions very diverse.

Through the many influences of artists from New Order and Depeche Mode to Massive Attack, The Prodigy, Moby and the various techno disciples of this multi-faceted time, the two of them produced everything they enjoy, be it trip hop, electronica, breaks or techno.

However, in 1999 the two of them went separate ways for reasons of diverging careers. They quickly lost touch to each other until the contact ceased completely. Yet, the two of them still wished to produce music.

This is why both of them kept working with synthesizers, music software and studio technology creating their own tracks.

In 2003, it was coincidence that brought them back together.
The two friends met again at a small local electro party and soon realised that they still shared the same interest for electronic music as they had four years earlier.
After a few sessions in their domestic living room studios they decided to make more of their hobby and, thus, started renting their first studio in 2005. Microtrauma was born.

In 2007, Microtrauma had its first release “Wake up“ on the Elected Tunes label. Their first own release “Collar EP” soon was to follow.
Microtrauma has developed its own style from almost ten years of working and tinkering as well as its many influences: melodic, dark, technoid and minimal.

08 Back To The House Of Hades (W O L V E S Remix) by In Depth Tunes

This is music I love. Here is the soundcloud description below. Enjoy!
“Enchanted Voyages of the Odyssee” is a project that vibrates with the loving care and attention to detail poured into it by artist Seth Schwarz and UCP Berlin. This album translates the epics of the Odyssee into a musical narration. The sonic elements that build this world of mystical soundscapes are painted in refreshingly bright colors. The harmonious, soothing sound production subtly develops a continuous arc of thrilling suspense across the album tracks.
Enchanted Voyages of the Odyssee comes with a remarkable remix album . The list of remixers speaks for itself. Ryan Dupree provides the overture with his mighty Fruit of Forgetfulness. Just as extravagant is the next track; Talul – Pauke Schaumburg makes you dream again, while Panik Pop’s charming remix conjures up some desert atmosphere. Pingpong then pushes you to ever higher levels with a wide variety of layered sounds, and Tony Casanova sends you straight to the club, shaking the dancefloor right under your feet. Beatamines then enchants you with truly outlandish sounds. Finally, W o l v e s rounds off the album with driving sounds that you just can’t keep your feet still to.
This remix album has something for (almost) everyone, sampling various genres by top-notch performers; taking an audio sample here is definitely worthwhile.

Today we’re happy to present SEGG. Up and coming French producer started moving his first steps in music since at a young age, but his first vibes were actually brought to life as a result of the years he spent in Switzerland during his youth. He learned how to play guitar, piano, bass, drums and developed a strong vocal ability and his first influences were from folk melodies to traditional world music.

He then discovered electronic music in between Lausanne, Berlin and New York, and matured a passion in producing electronic music, which went hand in hand with his classical and jazz training background.

Nostalgic harmonies rooted in the dynamic rhythms that transport crowds all around, from the mountains of Switzerland to the blocks of concrete of the German clubs..
Just like a photographer, Segg seamlessly blends these two extremes with his unique emotional touch.

Moving to London was a big step towards the start of his music career by, entering Point Blank music school to refine his production skills.

His first projects were well received from the industry, with supports from Acid Pauli, Nicole Moudaber, Bedouin, Timujin, Lee Van Dowski, Sasha, Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Eli & Fur. He s actually finalising some new exciting projects, including a new EP with Keybe out very soon..
