Premiere: Cristoph & Jeremy Olander ‘Last Dance’ by Mixmag

This is music I love. Here is the soundcloud description below. Enjoy!
Out on May 15 and debuting on John Digweed’s hallowed Bedrock label, the lead track of the two arrives today on ?Mixmag?. ‘Last Dance’ is a remarkable showcase of the kind of mature and layered sound that Olander and Cristoph are able to create together. It’s easily a memorable finale tune, accompanied by a soulful vocal and a lingering, emotive feel.

Premiere: FTSE – Blood On My Hands by i-D

This is music I love. Here is the soundcloud description below. Enjoy!
The revolution will be tweeted… and soundtracked by FTSE. Long-time fans of the talented Midlands born and raised chap, we are more than pleased to present Blood On My Hands, the first track from his debut album due for release via Lucky Number this summer. With past EPs presenting the work of FTSE aka Sam Manville as a producer (collaborations with artists such as Kenzie May, Saint Savoir and Femme ran the length of the records), this release marks the very clear direction of FTSE the artist. With the support of a full band behind him, his brutally honest lyrics and anti-capitalist musings are self-deprecating anthems for modern society, topped with – as all the best things are – catchy poppy choruses. Blood On My Hands comments on the exploitation behind consumerism, delivered with stabbing synth horns and a pause for some reflective and rather beautiful harmonies. Join FTSE at London’s Electrowerkz on 26th May.

Premiere: Sailor & I ‘Turn Around’ (Âme Remix) by Mixmag

This is music I love. Here is the soundcloud description below. Enjoy!

The ‘Turn Around’ EP is one that’s been in the works for some time and its accompanying remix is one of the most anticipated tracks of 2014. If you’ve been to see the likes of Dixon, Mano Le Tough, Solomun, Maceo Plex or Tale Of Us recently then you will have heard it, loved it, and wanted it.

The mesmerising Âme remix has been gliding its way round sound systems across the globe since the start of the year and it’s no surprise as to why. The perfect end of set track, it enchants its way through eight minutes of euphoric vocals, grand synths, astounding builds and simply gorgeous drops.

We reckon its one of the best tracks of the year and you can listen to it for the first time in full.
